We supported the commissioning of the first food waste treatment plant in Hong Kong. The plant treatment capacity is 200 tons of food and kitchen waste collected in Hong Kong daily. Two pretreatment lines were installed with feeding hoppers for the pretreatment plant, impact crushers, piston pumps, and a reject separation system. It is a continuously operated and completely automated system that does not require any manual waste sorting. We produce a clean organic slurry in the pretreatment that is then used for biogas production in anaerobic digesters.
